1. Scope of Service

Our platform provides an online marketplace for the sale of both new and leftover construction materials in Uganda and across Africa.
The materials listed on our website include, but are not limited to, cement, bricks, steel, timber, plumbing materials, electrical components, and other building supplies.

We do not sell construction services but act as an intermediary between suppliers and customers, facilitating transactions for the sale of construction materials.

2. User Eligibility

To use this platform, you must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By using this platform, you confirm that you are eligible to enter into a legally binding contract.

By using this website, you agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account, and you agree to update any such information in the event of changes.

3. Account Registration and Security

To make a purchase, you may need to create an account on our platform. You agree to keep your account details confidential and are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised or unauthorized transactions have occurred.

4. Product Listings and Descriptions

All products listed on our platform are described as accurately as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the product descriptions are error-free, complete, or up-to-date. We reserve the right to modify product listings, including prices, specifications, and availability, without prior notice.

Product images on the platform are for illustration purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product received.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices on the platform are displayed in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) or the applicable currency depending on your location. Prices are subject to change without notice, and we reserve the right to adjust the pricing in case of errors or price changes from suppliers.

We accept payments via bank transfers, mobile money (e.g., MTN Mobile Money, Airtel Money), debit/credit cards, and other secure payment methods as available on the platform.

By placing an order, you authorize us to charge the total amount due to your selected payment method. Any taxes or additional fees that apply will be calculated at checkout.

6. Order Acceptance

Upon placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email serves as an acknowledgment that we have received your order but does not constitute acceptance of the order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time for reasons including but not limited to product unavailability, pricing errors, or fraud prevention.

Orders are only accepted when we send a shipping confirmation email or when we dispatch the products to you.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery of products purchased through our platform is the responsibility of the seller of the item. The platform acts as an intermediary and does not handle the physical delivery of goods.

The delivery fee is not included in the total amount at checkout and is to be agreed upon separately between the seller and the buyer. The buyer and seller will negotiate delivery terms, including the cost and time frame, prior to the shipment of the product.

We recommend that both the buyer and seller confirm all delivery details, including address, timeline, and costs, before finalizing the transaction. Any shipping arrangements should be clearly communicated between the parties.

In case of damage to goods during transit, the buyer should contact the seller directly within 48 hours to resolve the issue. Please note that the platform is not liable for any delivery issues, including delays, damages, or loss during the shipping process.

8. Returns and Refunds

The platform accepts refunds only under specific conditions related to payment. Refunds are only considered if the buyer has not shared their payment token with the seller. The payment token is a critical part of confirming payment and finalizing the transaction, and sharing it authorizes the seller to redeem the payment.

Once the buyer has shared the payment token with the seller, and the seller has redeemed the payment, the transaction is considered final, and the platform is no longer responsible for any returns or refunds.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect the goods before releasing the payment token to the seller.

We highly recommend that buyers carefully review the products upon delivery and verify that they match the order before sharing the payment token.
If any issues or discrepancies are identified with the goods, the buyer should contact the seller immediately to resolve the matter directly.

In the event of a problem after the payment token has been shared, the buyer and seller are encouraged to work together to resolve the issue. The platform will not intervene in disputes related to products once the payment has been completed.

9. Warranty

We offer warranties on certain products as indicated on the product pages. Warranty terms, including duration and coverage, vary by manufacturer and product type. We act as an intermediary and will assist in facilitating warranty claims for eligible products.

Warranty claims must be processed according to the manufacturer's guidelines, and you may need to contact the manufacturer directly for certain claims.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the platform or any purchase made through the platform shall be limited to the total amount paid for the product(s) in question.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, loss of business, or damage to property, arising out of the use or inability to use the platform or the products purchased.

12. Intellectual Property
